You don’t need to be an expert with a computer to use Event Smart. Our getting started guide for Event Smart will lead you along the way – from setting your timezone to publishing your first workshop.
I have an existing website. Can I add Event Smart there?
Yes, you can add the Event Smart calendar, events list, and pricing option selector through an embed to any existing website, such as Weebly, Wix, and WordPress.com so an attendee can start their registrations.
I want to show my workshops on a calendar. Can I do that with Event Smart?
Yes, with the Events Calendar upgrade, your workshops will automatically appear on a calendar. Your attendees can browse to a workshop and then click to begin their registration. The Events Calendar upgrade is included in the Business plan and Personal plan. It can be added a la carte to the Basic plan.
I want to allow more than one participant to register for my workshops at a time. Are group registrations available?
Yes! You can allow group registrations by checking the Personal Information question group for additional registrants through the lower right area of the event editor on your Event Smart website and then saving changes.
Can I create workshops that have different dates?

Can Event Smart help with an online or virtual workshop?
Yes, the registration confirmation email can be customized to include a link to an online workshop in Zoom, Google Hangouts, Go to Meeting, or another service by using a virtual venue. We have tutorial on how to use Event Smart for virtual events.
I need to create courses or a series of related workshops. Can Event Smart help me with courses?
Yes, you can create a workshop that has different dates or sessions across a period of time so attendees can register. Here is a video tutorial on how to create a course in Event Smart.
Are there any contracts at Event Smart?
There are no contracts or suprise fees at Event Smart. We also do not add any per-event fees or per-registration fees. Subscribe month to month to just the upgrades that you need to be successful with your workshops. If you need to take a break from organizing workshops for a while, then you can cancel. You can then subscribe again in the future from your My Account page.
How will I collect payments from participants that register for my workshops?
For accepting online payments, you’ll partner with a secure payment service like Stripe, Authorize.net, Braintree, PayPal, or another supported payment service. This means that you’ll enter your credentials for the payment service in your Event Smart settings and then you will receive those funds for each paid registration to your merchant account.
