I have an existing website. Can I add Event Smart there?
Yes, you can add the Event Smart calendar, events list, and pricing option selector through an embed to any existing website, such as Weebly, Wix, and WordPress.com so an attendee can start their registrations.
I want to allow more than one attendee to register for my festival at a time. Are group registrations available?
Yes! You can allow group registrations by checking the Personal Information question group for additional registrants through the lower right area of the event editor on your Event Smart website and then saving changes.
I have a multi-day festival. Can Event Smart help?
Yes, you can create a festival that has various dates in Event Smart by using the multiple date times and pricing options option in the event editor. Here is a video tutorial on how to create an event that has various dates that an attendee can choose from.
My festival has a series of sub-events like classes and workshops. How does that work with Event Smart?
You can create those as separate events so an attendee can register for them. Then add the Multiple Event Registration feature upgrade (included in the business plan) so they can register for various events and check out at once.
I want to sell different passes or tickets for my festival. Can they be created in Event Smart?
Yes, with the multiple dates times and pricing options feature, you’ll be able to do that. Here is a video tutorial on how to create an event that has different pricing options.
Will my attendees receive a ticket after registering?
Yes, your attendees will receive a ticket after their registrations as long as you have the Ticketing upgrade on your Event Smart website. The ticketing upgrade is included in the Business plan or it can be added a la carte to the Personal or Basic plan.
I want to pre-screen vendors for my festival. Is there a vendor management feature in Event Smart?
Yes, you can create a separate event with a default registration status of not approved through the top right area of the event editor and save changes. That will allow vendors to pre-register but their vendor registration will be “held for review.” You can then choose who you want to accept and update their registration status to pending payment so they can pay any fees due. Plus, you can send a message to vendors through Event Espresso just in case anything changes with your festival.
Can vendors upload files during their registration?
Event Smart does not, at this time, have a way to handle uploading files during a registration.
How will I collect payments from attendees that register for my festival?
For accepting online payments, you’ll partner with a secure payment service like Stripe, Authorize.net, Braintree, PayPal, or another supported payment service. This means that you’ll enter your credentials for the payment service in your Event Smart settings and then you will receive those funds for each paid registration to your merchant account.
Are there any contracts at Event Smart?
There are no contracts or suprise fees at Event Smart. We also do not add any per-event fees or per-registration fees. Subscribe to just the upgrades that you need to be successful with your festival and then cancel afterward. You can subscribe again from your My Account page.
