What is the difference between PayPal Website Payments Pro and Payflow Pro?
With PayPal Website Payments Pro, payment processing with PayPal is a complete package. With Payflow Pro, the service includes a payment gateway only and then you need to connect it to a supported processor (e.g. World Pay, Moneris, Elavon, etc) with an existing merchant account.
If you want to use Payflow Pro with Event Smart, then you can purchase the Payflow Pro feature upgrade for Event Smart on this page while logged into your account on EventSmart.com. You can then enable Payflow Pro through your Event Smart dashboard → Payment Methods → Payflow Pro.

Frequently asked questions about the Payflow Pro payment gateway
Do you charge any commission or service fees for each event or each registration?
We do not add any commission fees for your events or your attendee registrations which means that you keep more funds from each registration. Connect your business or premier account from Payflow Pro to Event Smart and receive payments directly to your PayPal merchant account as your attendees register and pay for their event registrations.
How can I set up a recurring payment, payment plan, or a subscription through Payflow Pro?
Recurring payments, payment plans, or subscriptions are not currently supported in the Payflow Pro feature upgrade. When an attendee pays for their event registration with Payflow Pro, they pay up front so, you receive your funds right away.
What if I get stuck or need some help?
